As a Community Resources team member, incumbent will provide hospitality services to local businesses and community members who are visiting downtown Troy. Ambassadors will be expected to greet business and community members, provide information about navigating downtown Troy, and serve as a resource for community members who need assistance with resources available in the community. Ambassadors will ensure that they are promoting the mission of Unity House of Troy, as well as the philosophy that all people have a right to be treated with dignity and courtesy.
Preference for One Troy area residents and/or stakeholder applicants.
Unity House is a Rensselaer County-based human service agency that provides a wide range of services to meet the otherwise unmet needs of people in our community who are hurting and struggling. We assist those who are living in poverty, adults living with mental illness or HIV/AIDS, victims of domestic violence, and children with developmental delays. We work to achieve social justice in our community and to create a better understanding of those we serve.
